BSNL waives off installation charges for fixed line connections

For all the new fixed line service connection, state-owned telecom firm BSNL has announced to waive off installation charges that is usually quoted of the range Rs 600-650.
There is also a 100 percent cash back when customers purchase Wi-Fi enabled broadband modem in order to opt for plans for monthly rental of Rs 675 or above.
BSNL, in its statement, has announced the scheme to waive off installation charges for all new landline or wireline connection or broadband and FTTH connection in a push to attract more number of customers and promote wireline services.
For new landline connections, BSNL charges Rs. 600 and for broadband connection, it is Rs 850. As per BSNL official’s statement, the scheme is set to come to effect starting from today. This is not of any kind of limited period offer. It will continue as long as further announcement is made.
BSNL has also launched another scheme where ADSL Wi-Fi model is given for Rs. 1500 and it comes with 5-year warranty period along with 100 percent cashback for broadband customers who choose to go for broadband plan with Rs. 675 monthly charge or above, and buy ADSL Wi-Fi modem from BSNL for Rs. 1500.
This cash back will be given to customers as Rs.50/month for 30 months.
