The Central Bank of India and Dena Bank have reduced the interest rate for bank savings accounts by 0.5%.
The Central Bank of India has informed that this will be applicable for deposits less than Rs. 50 Lakhs.
Dena Bank has informed that this would be applicable for deposits less than Rs. 25 Lakhs.
It is to be noted that 10 banks, including the State Bank of India, HDFC Bank and Bank of Baroda, have already reduced the rates for saving accounts deposits.
