LG launches mosquito repellent smartphone

LG has announced the launch of its new smartphone LG K7i at Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2017. The LG K7i smartphone is priced at Rs 7,990 and will be available across retail outlets in India. The main highlight of the smartphone is its Mosquito Away technology which drives mosquitoes away.
The device uses 30KHz ultrasonic sound waves to drive away the mosquitoes. The frequency of these ultrasonic sound waves is harmless to humans. LG also offers a stand for the smartphone after the repellent is activated.
The LG K7i comes with 5-inch On-cell display and powered by a quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM.
The device equipped with an 8MP rear camera & 5MP front facing camera. The LG K7i has 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable using a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers dual-SIM functionalities. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and comes with 2500mAh battery.
