TNRERA uploads housing project details online

For large housing projects, gaining access to authentic building approvals will henceforth be very easy with the latest initiative by the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA). The TNRERA is in the process of uploading details on its purview online.
On 31st July, the upcoming project at Jalladampet was registered by TNRERA. This project falls under Great Chennai Corporation limit. Under the head of registered projects, soft copies of planning permission approved by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, permit given for the civic body and the total carpet area were uploaded.
According to official TNRERA sources, specific project details shall be made available online. Necessary works to upload the documents online are being done, said officials. About 106 such housing projects are registered as of 4th October by TNRERA.
According to the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Rules, 2017, the official portal of real estate regulatory authority should contain various details of all the registered projects. It is mandatory for promotors to get registered with the real estate regulatory authority if they work on minimum of 8 units.
