Holiday for schools (Chennai, Thiruvarur, Kanchipuram) tomorrow (Nov 4)

The district collectors of Chennai Kanchipuram and Thiruvarur have declared a holiday for all the schools tomorrow (Saturday, 4th November) due to the incessant heavy rains. Further, the collectors have warned that no special classes should be conducted in any schools including private schools with Matriculation or CBSE syllabus.
The Northeast monsoon rainy season has intensified in several places in Tamil Nadu state. As it has been raining heavily and incessantly, Chennai has been deluged with stagnant rainwater. Streams of water are flowing all major roads.
In this situation, the schools in Chennai, Kanchipuram and Thiruvarur districts will have another holiday tomorrow (Saturday, 4th November).
It is further announced that the other district collectors will observe the situation and decide about this and announce soon.
