Two pairs of weekly super fast Express Visakhapatnam-Shirdi-Visakhapatnam and Visakhapatnam-Chennai-Visakhapatnam, which have been announced as regular trains in the budget, will be launched on December 15,2012.
Visakhapatnam- Chennai will leave Visakhapatnam on Mondays with effect from December 17 at 7.20 p.m. and reach Chennai Central on the next day (Tuesday) at 8.55 a.m.In the return direction train Chennai-Visakhapatnam will leave Chennai Central on Tuesdays at 9.10 p.m with effect from December 18 and reach Visakhapatnam on the next day (Wednesdays) at 10.25 a.m.
The inaugural run as special train will be on December 15 at 5.45 p.m. at Visakhapatnam with open-fast timings and in the return direction the train will also run in open-fast timings on December 16. En route, these pair of trains stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Narasingapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore and Gudur.
Visakhapatnam – ShirdiSuper fast Express will leave Visakhapatnam on Thursdays at 9.10 a.m. with effect from Dec. 20 and will reach Shirdi on the nextday (Fridays) at 12.15 p.m. (noon).
In the return direction, Shirdi – Visakhapatnam super fast express will leave Shirdi on Fridays at 7.10 p.m. with effect from December 21 and will arrive here on the next day (Saturdays) at 10.20 p.m. (night)
However, the inaugural run as special train will be on 15.12.2012 at 6.00 p.m. at Visakhapatnam with open-fast timings and in the return direction the train no.02802 will also run in open-fast timings on December 16.These pair of trains stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Elamanchili,Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, H.S Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon and Puntamba in both directions.
These trains will have one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tier, nine Sleeper Classes, six General Second Class coaches and two guard cum luggage vans.
