2.28 Lakhs voters in R. K. Nagar Constituency

The Election Commission has informed that there are 228234 voters in the R. K. Nagar Legislative Assembly Constituency.
The correction activity of voter ID particulars was carried out in the month of October. In Chennai Metro city alone, time extension was given to add or delete names and do corrections in the voters` list.
As the election was announced in the R. K. Nagar Legislative Assembly constituency, the applications received up to 29th November were taken into consideration. After this, there is an announcement that there are 228234 Lakh voters in this constituency.
The earlier count was 226714. Now, there is an addition of 1520 voters. In this, there are 110903 men and 117232 women, and 99 transgenders. There is an addition of 710 men and 819 women in the voters` list.
