Petrol and diesel price increased

Petrol price was increased by 13 paise per litre and diesel price up by 19 paise per litre with effect from 6 am, Jan 17.
Prices may vary from Outlet to Outlet within a city due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates.
After the price revision, a litre of petrol in Chennai will now cost Rs. 74.02 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 65.42 per litre.
