Students pursuing medical courses abroad need not get eligibility certificate

The Medical Council of India has come up with the announcement that the students who have successfully completed NEET and pursuing medical courses abroad need not get any eligibility certificate.
Many students who failed to get seats in the Indian medical colleges try to pursue medical courses abroad in countries such as Philippines, Russia, and China.
A pass in the NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance test) has been mandatory for the students pursuing medical courses abroad.
Accordingly, this year, NEET is scheduled to be conducted on 6th May. Meanwhile, the parents of the students who joined medical courses abroad during last year have written to the MCI seeking explanation whether they also need to write and pass NEET.
However, the students who joined medical courses abroad during the last year need not write NEET. These students have been granted an exemption. However, they need to get the eligibility certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI).
They need to submit an application attached with all requisite proofs and certificates to MCI before 31st May.
However, a pass in NEET has been mandatory for the students who pursue medical courses abroad in this year. The students who successfully completed NEET while pursuing medical courses abroad need not get any eligibility certificate from MCI.
