These foods would prevent the risk of blood clotting in us

It is well known that blood is present in all of us. Gel like mass is formed by the platelets and fibrin present in blood and this stops bleeding. This is blood clotting.

It is said that blood clotting is very dangerous and could lead to many issues like pulmonary embolism, stroke, coronary heart disease etc.

Even when there has been no external injury clotting of blood is seen. There are few reasons why this blood clotting happens in us. It must be noted that oral contraceptives intake plus other factors like sitting or lying down for lengthier time periods, damaged veins or arteries, lack of exercise, high BP, obesity etc could contribute to blood clotting.

There are certain foods that must be consumed so that the risk of blood clotting could be reduced. These foods are

Salicylates rich foods intake - This is very important and salicylate rich foods must be consumed by us so that blood clotting is inhibited. There are many fruits such as pineapple, berries, honey, plums and oranges etc that are rich in salicylates. It is worthy to mention here that the compounds of asprin that is responsible for reducing the risk of blood clotting are these salicylates.

Consumption of omega 3 fatty acids rich foods - In regulating blood clotting omega 3 fatty acids plays an important role and is highly effective. Foods like kale, spinash, fatty fish, canola oil, corn oil, flax seeds etc have rich omega 3 fatty acids content and these foods could be consumed by us so that clotting of blood is prevented. These omega 3 fatty acids also play huge role in fighting depression in us, improves eye vision, reduces the risk of heart diseases etc.

Consumption of Foods containing vitamin E - Inhibition of platelets and the cells responsible for blood coagulation is done by vitamin E. There are certain foods such as spinash, almonds, broccoli, kiwi, tomatoes, sweet potato etc and these foods must be consumed by us so that this blood clotting is prevented.

Other foods to be consumed - It is important to note that curcumin, polyphenols rich foods plus vitamin C rich foods, garlic etc must be consumed by us.
