Online engineering counselling process to begin from tomorrow

East or West home is the best is a famous saying. The news is students would be able to fill their applications and choices of their engineering subjects from their home itself now.
Every year for the purpose of attending single window engineering counselling at Anna University, Chennai, many students plus their parents travel all the way from their native places is known. The students and parents face many difficulties in this. This won’t be anymore and parents as well students could feel happy.
Beginning from Thursday, 3rd May 2018, online engineering counselling would start with the registrations of applications. This registration by online would be possible till 30th May 2018.
At the TNEA Facilitation Centres or TFC’s, verification of their certificates would take place and this would in the first week of June month.
Mr. Rhymend Uthariaraj who is secretary of TNEA or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions spoke about how students need not come all the way to Chennai and could fill their application and their choices of subjects from their home itself.
This online counselling conducted by Anna University has grabbed the attention of many now. For many rural students as many as 42 TFCs have been set up in the state of TN.
The secretary later spoke about how booklet about various engineering colleges in TN would be issued to the students. At the TFC’s a video explaining the process of online counselling would be played for the sake of students. On the popular You Tube also Anna University would be releasing this video.
