Most of the times there will be a heavy competition to grab the Commerce group in prestigious institutions. This proves that knowing the best institutions is very essential to build the foundation for a better future in various areas of Commerce.

Below are the list of best colleges in India for studying Commerce in under-graduate and post-graduate levels.

St. Xavier`s College, Mumbai

One of the most prestigious colleges of India and was established in the year 1869 having a rich history in providing courses on Commerce. The students for Under-graduate courses are based on the Maharashtra Board HSC marks. The minimum requirement of 45% is the criteria for requirement of eligibility in Commerce group.

Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi

Shri Ram College of Commerce is one of the affiliated colleges of the prestigious Delhi University and considered as one of the best exclusive centers for Commerce. Founded by Lala Shri Ram in the year 1926 the College offers bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) at UG level and Master of Commerce in PG level.

B.Com selection is entirely based on the cut off percentage in the Class 12 public examinations and for M.Com the admissions are based on the entrance test.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women

This college is located in Delhi and was also established by the founder of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Lala Shri Ram in memory of his wife Phooolan Devi. It is constructed in the year 1956 and considered as one of the best Women colleges affiliated to Delhi University in the field of Commerce.

This college provides Bachelors in Commerce B.Com with the cut-off percentage based selection and currently do not have a Post-graduate program in their study list.

The Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune

Established in the year 1983 the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is one of the premier educational centers for courses in Commerce and Business Administration. It is affiliated to University of Pune and the B.Com courses in the divisions of Accounting, Banking, Finance-Systems, Business Entrepreneurship and Marketing Management are offered as UG courses apart from M.Com.

Admissions are entirely based on the merits of the qualifying exams.  

Loyola College, Chennai

Loyola College is one of the prestigious Arts and Science Institutions in Chennai and has a long history in establishing College education since 1925 affiliated to University of Madras. The College provides courses in B.Com (General), B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Corporate Secretary) in Under-graduate divisions and M.Com and M.Phil in Post-graduate divisions.

For UG level the students are selected based on the School merit and personal interview whereas the PG courses are based on entrance tests conducted by the College.

Bengaluru’s Christ University

Christ University is ththe private deemed University established in the year 1969. It offers B.Com in various categories like General, Honors, Finance and Accounting, Professional and International Finance. The college also offers M.Com in PG level selected through entrance test.

UG level admissions are entirely based on the merit of Class 10 and Class 12 Qualifying Examination.
