Treated and purified effluent water for gardens sold at Rs. 18.40 per 1000 litres

CMWSSB (The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewage water Board) has announced that the 2nd grade chemically treated and purified effluent water is available at the cost of Rs. 18.40 per 1000 litres.
This 2nd grade treated effluent water can be used for other purposes except drinking – such as for gardens, toilets, and as required for factories/industries. CMWSSB has taken the initiative for the supply of this treated water without any shortage on a continuous basis as and when required.
Accordingly, water for the purposes mentioned above will be available at the effluent water treatment centres located at Kodungaiyur, Koyambedu, Nesapakkam, and Perungudi at the cost of Rs. 18.40 per 1000 litres.
