Boy falls into maze of pipes in hospital

Police investigations are on after a teenager allegedly fell through a maze of pipes in the periyar Nagar Government Hospital on Friday night.
D. Vignesh was admitted with a high fever. He placed his hand on a plank in the wall of the toilet and fell through, feel the police. He was admitted to a private hospital following severe head injuries but died there.
The hospital comes under the auspices of the Directorate of Medical Services under the Tiruvallur collectorate. It is understood that the facilities at the hospital started deteriorating after its shift here from under the Directorate of Medical Education.
