Prospects of rain for the next few days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects for rain in the next few days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained in this regard that due to the phenomenon of thermal convection, there are prospects of rain in the next few days in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro City will generally remain cloudy. There are prospects of the formation of thunder-clouds in the evening or night sessions.
Further, there are prospects of strong winds blowing at a speed of 45 kmph in the next 24 hours in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Hence, the fishermen are strictly advised not to venture into the sea with utmost caution.
