Never feel shy if you snore during the nights because you are not the only one who snores. These days this snoring issue has become common. During sleep many persons find it difficult to move air freely through nose and throat and this result in snoring. Tissues vibrate in the breathing tube and this creates sound. This snoring often disturbs the sleep of the person plus the sleep of those around him/her. To avoid this snoring people take to medicines also. By losing extra weight in us:
This is one important way to avoid snoring. In the persons who are having excess weight, near their neck portion fatty tissue gets accumulated and breathing pipe contacts. Difficulties in breathing take place and this result in snoring. Hence it is important to avoid extra weight.
Do facial exercise daily:
By some facial exercises, muscles are affected and it would reduce the snoring. It is said that facial exercises strengthen the muscles in the jaws, throat, tongue etc and eliminates the issue of snoring.
By sleeping on our side:
When we sleep on our back our tongue sometimes moves back of the throat and this would partly block the airflow through our throat. Hence by sleeping on our side air flow would be easy and it could reduce or stop our snoring.
Nasal strips could be used:
To help increase the space in the nasal passage, nasal strips could be placed on the bridge of the nose. By this breathing would be effective and snoring would be eliminated or reduced.
Drink enough water daily:
Most of us do not drink enough water every day. This could result in the secretion flowing in the palate and it finally results in snoring. By drinking plenty of water daily this snoring issue could be eliminated.
Say no to smoking and alcohol:
The issue of snoring could be increased by smoking as well by the intake of alcohol. Hence it is important to avoid both.
Head of our bed to be raised:
Our snoring could be reduced by raising the head of our bed by 4 inches. The airways in us would be kept opened by this and snoring would be reduced.
Air humidifier:
Sometimes dry air could cause irritations to nose and throat and it could result in snoring. By using air humidifier this snoring issue could be avoided.
