Prospects of rain in North Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that as a cyclonic formation has developed in the upper layers of the over the Central-west Bay of Bengal and the South Andhra coastal areas, there are prospects of rain in a few areas in the northern part of Tamil Nadu.
The rains persist in Tamil Nadu mainly because Tamil Nadu is in the junction point where the winds blowing from the West and the East meet.
There are prospects of mild rain in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs.
