Prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu

A low-pressure zone has formed and persisted over the interior South Karnataka and Kanyakumari region. Due to this, there are prospects of rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places in the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai and its suburbs will remain generally cloudy. There are prospects of mild rains in the evening or the night sessions.
