Weather update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

As expected 8th October is turning out to be very good day for Thunderstorms. Chennai is a let down, we are going for a break in rains except some isolated spells.

Widespread activity seen in Western, South and Interior Tamil Nadu. With One cyclone and one Depression either side. TN was so perfectly placed. But as both moving are away, our rain chances reduce as they would have taken away all the moisture away and with Depression / possible cyclone moving towards Odisha, they will change the easterly wind pattern. Hence, we have to wait for few more days till another low pressure forms for widespread rains.
Chennai - Expected a better day sadly all the clouds fizzled reaching its coast.
Madurai is again seeing rains after today early morning heavy spells.
After tomorrow - nothing major is seen in weather front for Tamil Nadu in the coming days. Will be back with some good news soon. Till then dont believe any rumors or forward any of the scary news u get in ur whatsapp. Close to 100 mm Tamil Nadu has got in this past one week spell. Our Tamil Nadu NEM total is 440 mm and we have got 20% of the rains even before our monsoon has set in.
