The 2nd day of Navaratri Brahmotsavam at Tirupathi temple

On the 2nd day of the grand Navaratri Brahmotsavam at the Tirupathi temple, the deity of the Lord Malayappa Swamy was adorned specially and taken on a procession on the carriage of ‘Hamsa Vahanam’ (swan) to offer darshan to the crowds of devotees.

The grand Navaratri Brahmotsavam festival is in progress at the famous Tirupathi temple is in progress and celebrated in a grand manner.

On the 2nd of this Navaratri Brahmotsavam yesterday (Thursday, 11th October), the deity of the Lord Venkateswara was taken on a procession on the carriage of ‘siriya sesha vahanam’ (small snake carriage) from 8.00 AM to 11.00 AM  around the temple corridors and the streets.

The deity of the Lord Malayappa Swamy was specially adorned and taken on a procession around the 4 main corridors of the temple and offered darshan to the devotees.

Later, in the evening session from 6.00 PM to 7.00 PM, the ‘Unjal Seva’ (the deity of the Lord places on a swing) was performed.

From 8.00 PM to 10.00 PM, the deity of the Lord Malayappa Swamy was taken on a procession with special adornments on the carriage of ‘Hamaa Vahana’ (swan) around the 4 main corridors of the temple offering Darshan to the devotees.

Subsequently, from 10.00 PM to 11.00 PM, ‘Navaratri Kolu Aasthanam’ was performed at the Ranganayakar Mandapam in the temple.
