Soon re-examination to be conducted by Anna University on Opto Electronic Devices subject

Recently news regarding question paper blunder or goof up of Anna University grabbed the attention of many. On 2nd of November 2018, students studying Electronics and Communication from as many as 538 engineering colleges affiliated to famous AU wrote ‘Opto Electronics Devices’ paper. These students were shocked and surprised to see many questions repeated from the previous year question paper.
The latest news is Anna University or AU would soon be conducting re-examination on this above mentioned subject and this was announced by AU now. It is worthy to mention here that Part B of the question paper was mere repetition of the previous year question paper. There were five 13 mark questions present in Part B. In addition to this, 5 out of 10 questions in Part A of 2 marks were also from the last year question paper. It is now brought out that the examiner who had set the question paper for ‘Opto Electronic Devices for the electronic and communication engineering students was questioned by Anna University now. Anna University has sought an explanation from this examiner regarding question paper goof up.
According to the controller of examinations, Mr. Venkatesan, re-examination for the above mentioned subject would be held on 28th of November 2018. The examination would take place from 2pm to 5 pm. This has been communicated to other colleges also now. It must not be forgotten that recently university officials made sensational news when they were suspended and arrested for re-evaluation scam. It is now said that the news about re-examination for the Opto Electronic Devices has come up at this important time.
