Here are the step-by-step instructions to prepare Spring Onion Curry recipe at your home.
Ingredients:
- Spring Onion - 1 Bunch
- Besan flour (Kadalai mavoo) - 3 tbsp
- Garlic - 5 finely chopped
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - as needed
- Curry leaves - few
Method:
- Wash the Spring onion, cut the onion from the spring onion and chop them, keep aside.
- Chop the spring onion leaves and keep aside.
- Heat Kadai with oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- When it splutters add garlic and chopped onion, fry until onion turns golden brown.
- Add Salt, Turmeric powder, Red chilli powder and mix well.
- Fry for a minute, add chopped spring onion leaves and garam masala (optional), mix well.
- Allow this cook for about 4-5 miutes.
- Add besan flour and mix well,
- Saute well, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes with low heat. (till the besan gets cooked)
- Spring Onion Curry is ready, Serve this with Chappathi or Rice.
