On the 2 sacred days of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Vaikunta Dwadasi falling on 18th and 19th December, the Tirupathi temple Sorga Vasal will remain open throughout.
As per schedule, the Sorga Vasal will be opened at midnight 12,30 AM on 18th December.
A review meeting on the various arrangements and organization regarding the Vaikunta Ekadasi headed by the TTD Joint Director Srinivasa Raju was conducted today (Friday, 30th November).
He explained after the meeting that the ‘Sorga Vasal’ at the temple is scheduled o be open at 12.30 midnight on 18th December. Both on 18th December and on 19th December, the Sorga Vasal of the temple will remain open throughout.
From 1.30 AM onwards on the date of 18th December, all VIPs will be allowed to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara on this sacred day.
From 4.00 AM onwards, the waiting queue of workers as per priority will be allowed to have Darshan.
The mountain route to reach Tirupathi will remain open 24 hours to facilitate the visiting devotees.
These devotees will be seated at the Vaikuntam complex from 10.00 AM onwards from 17th December itself.
Once the Vaikuntam complex gets full, devotees will be accommodated to wait in the Narayanagiri Flower Garden, and temporary sheds set up on the Mada Streets.
For this special occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, the regular arrangement of priority accorded for the devotees who are senior citizens differently-abled, and the parents with children under the age of 1 year will remain cancelled.
The Joint director further informed that all basic and essential necessities will be made easily available for the devotees awaiting Darshan.
