Chat Masala Green Peas Recipe

Chat Masala Green Peas Recipe, easy & quick to make for evening tea time for your kids, family or Party.

Ingredients

  • Green peas - 200 g
  • Besan flour - 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Dhania powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala - ½ tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as required
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
Serving 

  • Spicy corn flakes or omapodi
  • Onion chopped  - 3 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - little
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Method

  1. Wash and Soak Green peas overnight. (5 to 6 hrs)



  2. Pressure cook the Green peas with enough water and cook them with a pinch of salt.



  3. Take Besan flour in a mixing bowl, add 1 glass of water, mix without any lumps.



  4. Heat 2 tbsp of Oil in a pan, add Ginger garlic paste, Red chiili powder, Dhania powder, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder and salt.
  5. Now add liquid besan mixture.



  6. Stir well, cook till raw smell of besan flour disappears.



  7. Keep on stirring, so as to avoid contents get sticking on to the bottom of the pan.(add little water if required)



  8. Add cooked green peas, cook for about 2-3 minutes with low flame.



  9. Now Green peas masala is ready.

Serving
  • In a serving bowl add Green peas masala,



  • Sprinkle finely chopped onion, coriander leaves,



  • Top it with spicy corn flakes or Omapodi, and squeeze little lemon juice over it.
