The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain for 4 days in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the formation of a low-pressure zone over the Kanyakumari Ocean area.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials shared:
‘The low-pressure zone which was prevailing over the area between Maldives and Telangana has weakened. Subsequently, a new low-pressure zone has formed over the Kanyakumari Ocean Area and is prevailing over the southeast Arabian Sea in the areas of coastal Kerala.
Due to this low-pressure formation and the winds blowing from the East towards Tamil Nadu, there are prospects of rain in 1 or 2 places for the next 4 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
