Exam for the selection of SI posts announced

The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has announced the plan to conduct examination for the recruitment of 969 Sub Inspectors for the Tamil Nadu Police Department.
Based on the vacancies arising in the Departments of Tamil Nadu Police, Prison, and Fire-fighting, the Grade-2 policemen (Sub Inspectors) are recruited by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.
Based on this approach, the Board had announced that it will be recruiting 8826 candidates for recruitment in the Grade-2 police category for all the 3 departments (police, prison, and fire-fighting) including men, women, and transgenders.
In this situation, the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has announced the plans to recruit 969 candidates for the post of Sub Inspectors meant for the Tamil Nadu Police Department in the categories of Armed Police, Special Police, and Taluk Sections.
Applications must be submitted only online.
Online applications may be sent online from 20th March to 19th April. The date for the written examination will be announced later.
