Prospects of rain today (18th March) in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places today (Monday, 18th March).
The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials shared in this regard:
‘Due to the phenomenon of thermal convection, there are prospects of mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Metro City skies will be partly cloudy in the morning session. The sky will get clear later. The maximum temperature of 33 Degrees Celsius will be recorded.
As for the temperatures recorded yesterday, Madurai (South) was 101 Degrees. Madurai Airport recorded 99 Degrees, and Salem, 98 Degrees.
