A recent study states that there are over 69 percent of Indian companies and 63 percent of Australian companies that are likely under cyber-attack threat. Considering the past 1 year, there is at least 1 threat met by over 35 percent of these organizations.

On 9th May, a detailed study about cyber-attacks in Indian and Australian organizations was announced. The study discovered the impact of cyberattacks on digital transformation projects in specific.

There are several organizations that constantly conduct breach assessment in order to prevent themselves from likely cyberattacks. Nevertheless, about 55 percent are under threat.

According to the study, it is evident that a number of APAC organizations are at the verge of falling prey for cyber security issues, say industry experts.

Of the total assessed population, over 95 percent respondents have undergone digital transformation with newer technology adaptation that may include Internet of Things, mobility, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc. These organizations are indirectly pushed for digital transformation, say reports.

The business leaders show lesser maturity in developing digitally transformed projects, they add.
