Chennai Rain Update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

Wettest day of the year in Chennai without a doubt. Chennai is having one good Veppa Salanam Rains this year and have moved to excess category (and joins Tiruvannamalai and Tiruppur dists). The rains will continue for 2 more days at nights. Again lets hope we fall in the path of storms which will move from Vellore belt. Last 2 days spell will surely help ground water a lot. Thought it rained in lakes, not even a inch of water would been increased. Lets keep RWH system ready tonight too. Hope North Chennai gets balancing act tonight though South Chennai is always favorably placed to get rains.
The drizzles from stratiform clouds will continue for a while and then it will clear off.
