For the health to be good it is important that we must eat well, have good sleep and must stay physically fit. It must be taken into account that every one of us could feel tired from time to time. Hence some changes in the lifestyle are essential if the tiredness in us is unmanageable. Point to be noted is food provides fuel to the body and more the energy we have more easy for us to get through the day.
There are few drinks and foods that must be avoided by us as they could lead to low energy levels in us. These are
Avoid eating cereals:
In the morning it is easy to eat cereal for our stomach to be full. The shocking information is some cereals have high glycemic index. As a result, our body absorbs and digest these carbohydrates faster. The blood sugar increases in us. We could feel tired and down in energy after some time. It is superb to eat whole grains etc that are rich in fibres and are low in sugar.
Avoid drinking coffee and energy drinks:
Coffee has got caffeine in it is well known. This caffeine acts as a stimulant and we could feel energised after consuming coffee. The truth is when caffeine begins to wear off then we could feel sluggish and dull. Same holds true for the energy drinks also.
Avoid or restrict eating red meat:
It is known that red meat is rich in nutrient and high in fat content. To break down these foods, more energy is taken by our body. Point is more energy stores we use the less amount of energy we would have. It is advised not to eat red meat every day.
Avoid consuming white bread:
This white bread works in the same way like cereals due to the fact that they have high glycemic index. It is said that intake of whole grain bread is better than white bread. The whole grain bread could keep our blood sugar levels stabilized.
Avoid eating fried foods:
These days many consume fried foods like potato chips, fried fries, fried chicken etc. It is said that these fried foods could lower our energy levels. It must be noted that it takes more energy of the body to digest the fat present in these fried foods. In the beginning, these fried foods might provide energy for us but in the long run we could feel sluggish.
