Ensuing Solar Eclipse!

Here are the various notable points regarding the solar eclipse occurring on 26th December.
- Date: Tamil calendar, Vikasi Varusham, Margazhi 10th and English Calender, Thursday, 26th December.
- Time: Starting time: 8:09 AM: Half-way time: 9:44 AM: Concluding time: 11:19 AM
- Stars (as per Tamil almanack) affected by the solar eclipse: Ashvini, Makam, Moolam, Kettai, and Pooradam
- The persons with the above stars need to perform special ‘Santhi’ to offset the evil effects of the solar eclipse.
- All people must wash/clean their residences after 11,45 AM, then bathe, and then only take food!
- People have ‘Soorya Darshan’ (viewing the Sun) after 12.30 PM.
- Note that meals (dinner) the previous day must be taken before 7.00 PM!
