Vandalur Zoo and Guindy Children Park open tomorrow!

The Forest Department has announced that both the Guidy Children’s Park and the Vandalur Zoo will be open on 14th January (Tuesday) on the occasion of the Pongal festival.
A notification released by the Arignar Anna Zoological Park mentions:
It is a regular system to observe a weekly holiday on Tuesday at bothe Arignar Anna Zoological Park at Vandalur near Tambaram and the Children’s Park located in Chennai Guindy.
In this situation, on the special occasion of the Tamil premier festival Pongal, both of them will remain open on Tuesday, January 14th.
