Additional funds of Rs. 500 Crores for coronavirus prevention activities: TN Chief Minister

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswamy has announced that an additional fund of Rs. 500 Crores has been allocated for the coronavirus prevention activities.
The Chief Minister addressed in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly:
Stringent action will be taken on those who fail to inform on cases with the symptoms of the coronavirus! There is no ban on sales of essential items and as such, shops selling milk, vegetables, etc., can continue functioning.
The public must follow the Government Orders!
Sufficient stock of medicines is available on hand. Additional beds will be arranged in government hospitals.
Stringent action will be taken on those who spread false rumors on the coronavirus! Disinfectants will be sprayed on the open shops selling essential items to the public on behalf of the local administrations.
A fund of Rs. 60 Crores had already been allotted for the coronavirus prevention activities. Now, an additional fund of Rs. 500 Crores is being allotted for this purpose.
