Not to force parents, students over tuition fees says TN government to the private schools

The Corona virus infection threat has been creating many issues to the public and many are so much concerned about their lives now.

At this point of time, many complaints were received by the School Education Department about many private schools in Chennai demanding tuition fees from the parents. The parents were also threatened about fines that would be collected if the tuition fees were not paid at correct time.

On Monday, the School Education Department sent a proposal to the state government and based on the recommendations the state government issued GO that was signed by Mr. K.  Shanmugam, Chief Secretary.

It must be noted that apart from the tuition fees the private institutions have been prohibited from collecting penalty for late payment of fees plus the dues from the students. Information collected is the educational institutions have been warned that action would be taken against violators under TN Disaster Management Act of 2005.
