WhatsApp, one of the most hugely popular social networking/communication media has informed that some guidelines/changes will be implemented from 8th January. A brief on this:
- WhatsApp will continue coactions of Users’ details – communications and financial transactions.
- Further, WhatsApp will be transparently observing the time spent by the users on their cell-phones and their movements.
- With this, WhatsApp will have the details of the users’ financial transactions – when, where, how and what. The messages sent through WhatsApp will remain saved in their servers for 30 days.
- It is gathered that the idea of exchanging these users’ data with the other industries! In India alone, there are over 20 Crores WhatsApp users!
- The news-brief about the above changed is being displayed/shared in the WhatsApp App. Only if the user agrees to this, he/she will be allowed to continue using WhatsApp. If the user does not agree, his/her account will be deleted from WhatsApp! They cannot use WhatsApp after 8th February
