Scorching heat to continue in Chennai for some days

The Chennai residents have been finding it difficult now!!
In the last 2 days, the temperatures have increased by 2 degree Celsius in Chennai and in its suburbs creating issues for the residents. On Sunday, the highest maximum temperature of 35.1 degrees Celsius in the month of March was recorded at Nungambakkam.
In the coming days also, the scorching temperatures would continue to be there in Chennai and its suburbs. The incoming dry winds would lead to rise in the levels of humidity in Chennai and its nearby places. It was predicted by some weather bloggers and private forecasters that Chennai and its suburbs might receive rains by the middle of the next week as pre-monsoon rains would begin over many parts of TN.
There would be a maximum temperature of around 35 degrees Celsius and a minimum of around 24degrees Celsius over the next 2 days in Chennai and its nearby places. On Tuesday, the temperature came down a little more than it was in the previous 2 days. The temperatures increasing by 1 or by 2 degrees are normal in the month of March and this was stated by some officials belonging to IMD. They hinted that the next few days would also be dry, hot and bright.
In the southern peninsula between 21st to 24th March, pre-monsoon rains would kick started and this would be due to a trough extending from Kerala to interior Maharashtra. This was according to some private forecasters. Mr. Mahesh Palawat, chief meteorologist of Skymet Weather has mentioned that on 23rd or on 24th March Chennai might get rains because of moisture incursion from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. There would be some rain spells towards the month end and this was according to Mr. Pradeep John. He hinted about waiting and watching regarding the rains.
