Banks working hours reduced until 6th June!

With the prevailing 100% lockdown imposed by the State Government of Tamil Nadu, the working hours of the banks have been reduced until 6th June!
The State Government of Tamil Nadu extended the prevailing 100% lockdown imposition until another week! Subsequently, the Bankers Association of Tamil Nadu has announced a reduction in the working hours of the banks.
Accordingly:
The banks will function from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM. All financial transactions will be done until 2.00 PM.
The Regional Offices and the Bank Administration Offices will function as usual until 5.00 PM.
In the bank branches, only one-third of staff will work on a rotational basis.
Services will include cash transactions, transactions through NEFT/RTGS, government trading, and cheque transactions.
The Banks MUST ensure the proper functioning of the ATMs, cash payment equipment, etc.
