Thalapathy 66 Confirmed!

It is confirmed! Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay 66th movie will be directed by ace Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally who directed the Nagarjuna- Karthi multi-starrer Thozha.
Going by reports, after the massive response of Vijay previous release Master, got in Telugu, this new project is going to be bilingual i.e., in Tamil and Telugu. Vijay also has a sizeable fan following in Kerala so we could expect even the movie to have a Malayalam release.
Tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, the project is produced by successful Telugu producer Dil Raju.
Details of cast and crew are yet to be announced. The project is most likely to be shot soon after the second wave of Covid subsides. Vijay is waiting to complete his current project with Kolamavu Kokila director Nelson.
