Petta director Karthik Subbaraj will distribute the much-awaited Kannada movie “777 Charlie” in Tamil. The dog-human bonding movie will release in 5 languages.
“777 Charlie” is directed by Rakshit Shetty who won a Filmfare award for his directorial debut “Ulidavaru Kadanthe”. The creative person he is, “777 Charlie”, the director revealed is a story of a man and a dog. Interestingly, the movie has been in production for the last 5 years as the makers wanted the same pup to grow as a dog. The director insisted he wanted the same dog and didn’t want to replace it with an adult dog.
Besides Kannada and Tamil, the movie will be dubbed into Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. It is learnt that actor Prithviraj of “Mozhi” fame will be distributing it in Malayalam. Tamil actor Bobby Simha makes his Kannada debut with "777 Charlie".
