“Vanakkam Chennai” director and wife of actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin’s wife Kiruthiga Udhaynidhi has confirmed her next movie.
It will have Malayalam actor Jayaram’s son Kalidas and Tanya Ravichandran who was last seen in “Karuppan” with Vijay Sethupathi.
Delving more into details, Kiruthiga says her new movie is going to be a travel story with a philosophical touch of the journey of life.
Kalidas, who has been doing interesting characters like his roles in “Paava Kadhaigal” and “Oru Pakka Kathai”, both of which saw releases on OTT, was in Kirthuthiga’s mind when she wrote the script. She wanted young actors who can emote subtly and adds this movie is going to be a challenge to Kalidas.
On the other hand, the director adds she wanted an actress who was unconventional and hence zeroed on Tanya who was suggested by someone. The supporting cast of the movie will be finalized soon. Coming to the technical crew, Lawrence Kishore will be the Editor, Sakthee Venkatraj will handle the art department and Richard M Nathan who’s been part of the director’s earlier projects will handle the camera.
Going by the director’s words, being a travel movie, the audience can expect it to be a visual treat.
