Viswanathan Anand to play chess with Aamir Khan

You read it right! Our very own ‘Master Mind’ Viswanathan Anand will play chess with Bollywood hero Aamir Khan in a charity exhibition match.
According to a press release from Chess.com, the initiative is organized by The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the chess match will be held online and will be live-streamed on YouTube on June 13, 2021, at 5 pm.
All the proceeds of the match will be going towards helping individuals and families from vulnerable communities who have been affected by COVID-19. The Akshaya Patra Foundation has asked people to donate generously. You can log on to http://akshayapatra.org/checkmate-covid for more details.
This is not the first time Aamir Khan and Anand are playing against each other. They have played in similar charity matches before.
