The title look of Vetrimaaran’s next project with Surya, ‘Vaadivaasal’, has been revealed.
Revealed by the producer of the movie Kalaipuli S Thanu, the project which was supposed to have gone on sets last year, is finally going to be shot from August-September. The producer with a lot of pride goes on to present the poster of the title which shows the Jallikattu bull. He delightfully says that is a symbol of our history and bravery.
Based on the novel of the same name by writer CS Chellappa, Vetri will give his touch to the writing to suit it to a larger audience. The backdrop of the story is Jallikattu and it is a revenge saga. Surya will be inspired by Kamal Hassan’s ‘Virumandi’ to take up this role. There are reports that Surya will practice a few Jallikattu action scenes with a bull. For ‘Virumandi’ it was reported that Kamal had trained with a bull.
GV Prakash will be composing the music for the film while Velraj handles the camera. The artwork is by Jacki. More details on the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
Surya has prior commitments before the lockdown and will resume his duties in Pandiraj’s new movie while Vetrimaaran will look to quickly wind up his ‘Viduthalai’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori.
