Many students show interest to pursue architecture courses in TN!!
On Thursday, the counselling for aspirants seeking admission to B. Arch courses began is well known. The students belonging to the special category including those who studied in the government schools attended counselling. It was mentioned by DOTE that the counselling for B. Arch course would be done after the completion of admission for B.E and B. Tech courses. After the completion of online registrations, the rank list for B. Arch course was released on Monday.
It is now brought out that the students under the special categories like eminent sportspersons, wards of ex-servicemen, differently able persons and those who studied in the government schools would have to appear for online counselling that would be conducted on Monday.
The students belonging to the general category would be filling their choice of colleges on Tuesday because the admission process would be held on that day. On 1st November, the provisional seat allotments would be carried out for both special category students as well as for the students belonging to general quota. On 2nd November, the supplementary counselling for those students who have missed the enrolment process would be held. Many student facilitation centres have been set up across Tamil Nadu and it is now said that all grievances of the applicants regarding rank and cut-offs etc would be cleared.
In the second week of November, the classes would start for the first year B. Arch students once the counselling gets completed fully. The candidates selected for B. Arch course would have orientation classes.
