If everything goes well, then by the end of November 100% first dose of vaccination would have been achieved in Tamil Nadu!! Incredible right!!
The state health minister Mr. M. Subramanian on Tuesday mentioned that the next mega vaccination drive would have 50000 camps across Tamil Nadu.
Yesterday, the minister was busy in Chengalpet and he made his presence in 7 village panchayats there. He spoke about the necessity of getting vaccinated for Coronavirus infection. A mobile vaccination unit was launched by him.
It is worthy to note that a total of 5.91 crores doses of vaccines have been given to the people belonging to Tamil Nadu and 31% of the population have been vaccinated fully. Point is that a total of 5.78 crores in the state are eligible for vaccination and efforts have been taken to ensure 100% first dose of vaccination by the end of November month.
In Tamil Nadu, thirteen lakhs people haven’t yet received their second dose of Covaxin and 48 lakh people haven yet received their second dose of Covishield. Team of doctors, nurses, computer operators and assistants would go door-to-door on the vehicle to find out those who need to be vaccinated. On the weekdays, people would be vaccinated by them and a mega vaccination drive would be conducted on the weekends.
