Department of Hindu religious Endowment: 25 temples to perform Kumbhabhishekham in February!

The Department of the Hindu Religious Endowments of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that over 25 temples under its jurisdiction will be performing Kumbhabhishekham in February!

In a notification released by the Department of the Hindu Religious Endowment in this regard, the following details are mentioned:

6th February – Trichy District lalgudi Lord Srinivasa Varadaraja Perumal Temple

6th February – Thirunelveli District Nanguneri Lord Thiruvazhudheeswarar Temple

6th February – Mayiladuthurai District Tharangambadi Lord Chellappar Vagaiyara Temple

6th February – Erode District Gopichettypalayam Lord Viswanataha Swami Temple

6th February – Sivagangai District Thirupathur Lord Valaroleeswarar Temple

6th February – Thanjavur District Vennaatrnkarai Goddess Ananda Vallaiamman Temple

6th February – Erode District Gopichettypalayam Goddess Kariya Kaaliamman Temple

6th February – Thirunelveli District Radhapuram Lord Subramanya Swami Temple

5th February – Papanasam Lord Damodsara Vinayajkar also known as Irattai Pillaiyar Temple

6th February – Kadaiyanallur Muthukrishnapuram Goddess Mutharamman Temple

6th February – Sivagangai District Karaikkudi Goddess Mutharamman Temple

6th February – Pudhukkottai District Thirumayam Lord Srinivasa Perumal Temple

11th February – Thanjavur District Pattukkottai Circle Aalathur Lord Veeranar & Lord Ayyanar Temple

7th February – Dindigul District Vedasanthur Circle Thattarappattu Goddess Devi Kunguma Karumariamman Temple

11th February – Cuddalore District – Viruidhachalam Circle Periyakandiyankuppam Lord Venmalaiyappar Temple

11th February – Perambalur District Nochiyam Lord Laksminarayana Perumal Temple

20th February – Thanjavur District Pattukkottai Seyyalur Goddess KalayanaSundari Amman Temple

The auspicious and sacred event of ‘ThirukkudamuzhukkuNanneerattu Vizha’ (rededication of the temple after renovations – known as Kumbhabhishekham as well) will be performed as per the above list and around 25 temples under the jurisdiction of the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of the Hindu Religious Endowment will be performed grandly in February.
