International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Naya Raipur have hosted a two-day-long Annual Entrepreneur Summit through hybrid modeto create an entrepreneurial mind set among students and motivate them to take the entrepreneurship road.The theme of the summit is ‘Dare to Begin.’ is inaugurated on Friday.
The young generation still is not comfortable in being an entrepreneur and so, through this initiative, IIITNR is trying to make the students realize that there is a lot more potential that can be tapped. In order to bridge the gap and to provide students a deep knowledge about entrepreneurship, IIITNR’s E-Cell organized E-Summit, which is largest College-level hybrid entrepreneurship conference in the state of Chhattisgarh.
IIITNR Director Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sinha appreciated the E-Cell, which is a student body, for organizing such a summit that will encourage the student to be entrepreneurs. He said that IIITNR emphasizes students to be their own master rather than serving jobs under others. He motivates the students not to fear failure and move ahead with determination.
The coordinator of E-Summit, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Patel threw light objective of E-Summit and said that E-Summit is an effort by IIITNR to build an entrepreneurial culture among students. It is the second E-Summit hosted by the institute. He also informed about various challenges which have been scheduled in the two-day long summit for the students to showcase their talent. A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Amit Agrawal.
World-Renowned Entrepreneurs addressed the summit as keynote speakers, like Ajay Lakhotiya, Founder of StockGro, talked about Fintech Boom in India, Aditya Arora, CEO of Faad Network, talked about entrepreneurship and youths, Arjun Malhotra, Co-Founder of HCL Group, talked about life Journey of becoming an Entrepreneur, Jivrag Singh Sachar, Venture Operations of Angellist, India silicon Valley Podcast, talked about Evolution of Indian Start-up Ecosystem. Ashwin Goyal, Director of Labs at Swiggy, talked on Zero to One concept, Sonakshi Nathani, Co-Founder of Bikayi, talked about how to be a successful fundraiser, and Venkatesh Iyer, CEO, and Founder of Goli Vada Pao talked about Mind to Mind Marketing. The entrepreneurs not only shared their experiences but also motivated students to ahead with their dreams.
The institute also organized various other activities like paneldiscussions, fireside chats students’ challenges, IPL Auctions, and UI/UX challenges. A large number of students participated and made the summit a huge success.
