Great news for EPFO Members!

The central government has come up with good news for the subscribers/account holders of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) The interest accrued on the subscriber’s account will be credited to the individual EPFO account!
With this, more than 6 Crores EFO Account-holders will benefit!
As per the announcement made by the Central Government, the EPFO interest ratio is 9,1%. This 8.1% is the lowest interest rate in the last 40 years!! Nevertheless, here is the procedure to get Rs. 400000 credited to your EPFO account:
In other words, If you have Rs. 5 Lakhs in your EPFO account, you may get approximately Rs. 40000/- as interest! It may be noted that EPFO has not come out with an official announcement yet!
The media announcements mention that this interest may be credited to the respective PF account by 30th June!
It is not so difficult to know the balance amount in the Provident Fund Account! One may access the Provident Fund Account Details right from one’s home through the mobile phone.
You have to use the mobile number given in your Provident Fund Account and use the phone dial 7738299899 and type EPFO UAN LAN!
LAN refers to language! If you require communication in English, you need to type ENG instead of LAN. HIN represents the Hindi language and TAM represents the Tamil language! If you need to get information in Tamil, you need to type EOFOHO UAN TAM.
You can know the balance amount in your EPFO Account through the App UMANG!
