The association between Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments or HR &CE and Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation or TTDC would be bringing lots of happiness for many devotees now!!
In this Tamizh month of Aadi, the above said tie up would be organising 5 special tours to various Amman temples. The cost of day-long tours is only nominal and this was mentioned by Mr. P.K. Sekar Babu, minister for HR & CE.
Normally, in the Aadi month many devotees would be going to Amman temples and now the HR & CE department has taken this important decision for the sake of devotees. This was mentioned by the minister. It is learnt that prasadams would be provided in all the temples and through special entry darshan would be there and the devotees need not pay any charge for darshan. The history of the temple would be explained by a priest at the temple.
It was highlighted by some source belonging to TTDC that all the buses would be air-conditioned and would be35 seater. The buses would have a dedicated guide and lunch would be provided for the devotees. The response has been encouraging for the tours.
For Chennai, 2 tours would be organised and one tour would cost Rs 900 per person and would cover 150 km and another tour would cost Rs 700 per person and would cover a distance of 85km.
It is noteworthy that Chennai -1 tour would be covering several Amman temples like Kalikambal temple, Royapuram based Angalamman temple, Tiruvottiyur based Vadivudai amman temple, Periyapalayam based Bhavani amman temple, Putlur based Angalamman temple and Thirumullaivoyal based Kodi idaiamman temple etc. The Aadi month tour would also have visits to famous temples in Madurai, Trichy and Thanjavur etc.
