One of the important temples across the state of Tamil Nadu is Thiruchendur based Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple that attracts many devotees throughout the year. This shore temple would soon be renovated at a cost of Rs 171 crores.
The TN government has identified 2500 temples in the state that would be renovated and Thiruchendur temple is one amongst them. For a total amount of Rs 365 crores, administrative sanction has been issued now for renovation and restoration and for maintenance etc.
The devotees visiting the Thiruchendur Temple in the future would be surprised to witness garden plus lighting etc here. The compound walls would be repaired after receiving funds from the contributors.
