TODAY heavy rains are expected in these districts belonging to TN!!

The RMC or Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has informed that today there would be heavy rains in 12 districts like Chengalpet, Kancheepuram etc in one or two places. It is known that RMC established in 1786 is one of the 6 RMCs of IMD.
It was brought out by Mr. Senthamarai Kannan, director, RMC that due to the change in the speed of westerlies light to moderate rains might occur today in places like TN, Puducherry and Karaikal etc on 24th August 2022.
It is learnt that there would be heavy rains likely in one or two places belonging to districts like Coimbatore, Nilgris, Theni, Dindigul, Tiruppur, Tenkasi, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Erode, Delta districts, Puducherry and Karaikal.
In Chennai, the sky would be partly cloudy and few places in the city would receive light to moderate rains with thundershowers. Today morning there was widespread rain in places like Triplicane, Anna Salai etc.
